Cindy Garrison
New this year is international angler and television star, Cindy Garrison. An avid outdoorswoman, Garrison has served as a fly fishing guide and ski instructor in Alaska, and the operator of a safari company in Africa. While in Botswana, she founded (and still operates) Safari Anglers, a company that guides fishermen in pursuit of Africa’s famed Tiger Fish. In 2002, after a chance encounter with an ESPN2 representative, Garrison began filming In Search of Flywater. The show was a hit, and led to her current program, Get Wild With Cindy Garrison, an adventure program which takes viewers to remote corners of the world on expeditions of saltwater fishing, hunting for dangerous game, and trips that test the limits of survival. Garrison’s talk will be packed with incredible stories of her experiences in the wild, as well as tips on fishing and outdoorsmanship. Garrison appears Friday and Saturday; don’t miss this exciting seminar.
